Now available: OAA QRH app for obstetric emergencies

The OAA is delighted to announce the launch of the app version of the award-winning OAA Quick Reference Handbook for Obstetric Emergencies, now available on the App Store and Google Play. The app is free to download on iOS and Android devices and is intended for members, colleagues, and all health professionals working in multidisciplinary maternity care teams.

The OAA QRH, with its comprehensive collection of action card guides designed to assist medical teams during obstetric and resuscitation emergencies, is now accessible on smartphones, bringing vital knowledge to your fingertips when you need it.

Modelled on the familiar formats used in the Association of Anaesthetists Quick Reference Handbook and the Resuscitation Council UK Quick Reference Handbook, the OAA QRH recently received a Highly Commended Award at the 2024 HSJ Patient Safety Awards.

The app version of the OAA QRH is the culmination of significant investment by the OAA, in partnership with our app developers Airsource, to support our members and colleagues in delivering high-quality emergency care in maternity units everywhere.
