Clinical
Extraordinary clinical experience in a busy Obstetric Unit, with normal and high-risk deliveries. On call commitment is approximately once weekly. In addition to the Fellows, the labour unit is staffed with an attending OB Anaesthesiologist and resident. Fellows attend regular interdisciplinary meetings with the Maternal Fetal Medicine Division (Perinatologists). Also, there is a short rotation in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Maternal Fetal Medicine and Surgical ICU. We do weekly consults in our antenatal high risk pre-delivery clinic and see many maternal complex medical problems including maternal cardiac diseases.
