Brigham and Women’s Hospital is an active high-risk referral service with numerous on-going research projects, and frequent presentations at SOAP meetings.
Fellows will find opportunities for writing, such as case reports, chapters and reviews readily available. Local faculty represent senior physicians well-known in the specialty of obstetric anesthesia.
There is a busy didactic and bedside teaching series with frequent lectures, journal clubs, clinical conferences, as well as numerous multidisciplinary conferences with obstetrical colleagues.
One non-clinical day per week will be provided to pursue research and other academic activities.
Clinical
On call duties include nights, with a day off after call.
Hospital
Busy urban maternity hospital with 10,000 deliveries per year.
